Graphic Design and Illustration

The students will be working in Adobe Illustrator CC. The students will begin Ch. 10 “Working with Color and Type”. In Lesson 20, they will learn to understand color modes, and the main color controls; create, edit, and paint with colors using a variety of methods; name and save colors, and build a color palette; work with color groups; use the Color Guide panel; explore the Edit Color/Recolor Artwork features; copy and paint appearance attributes from one object to another; work with Live Paint; and explore teamwork and leadership. In Lesson 21, they will learn to create and edit area and point type; import text; create columns of text; change text attributes; modify text with the Touch Type tool; create and edit paragraph and character styles; copy and apply text attributes by sampling type; wrap type around an object; reshape text with a warp; create type on a path and on shapes; and create text outlines.

The students will be introduced to Adobe Illustrator CC.
